Precision Trim & Flashings

24-gauge and 22-gauge pre-painted custom flashing, fabricated to any spec or design. Ridge caps, drip edges, valleys, wall flashings, and custom transitions — built to your exact measurements, not pulled off a shelf.

What We Build

This is the work most shops rush through — and the work that matters most on a finished project. Poorly fitted trim leaks. Sloppy flashings fail. We take the time to get dimensions right, bend profiles clean, and deliver pieces that your crew can install without field-modifying on the roof. Every piece is fabricated in our Reno shop on precision brakes. Whether it's a single custom transition or a full trim package for a 50-square roof, we treat every piece like it matters — because it does.

How We Build It

Trim and flashing orders start with your measurements and specifications. For panel system trim, we match the profile and color exactly. For custom flashings, we work from your sketches, dimensions, or field photos. Common orders include ridge cap, drip edge, gable trim, wall flashings (step, counter, and head flashings), valley metal, pipe boot flashings, and custom transitions for dormers, skylights, and wall-to-roof junctions. We cut, bend, and hem every piece on our precision brakes, then bundle and label everything for organized install. Rush orders are available when your project can't wait.

Material Options & Selection

We stock 24-gauge and 22-gauge pre-painted steel for custom flashing fabrication — any profile, any spec, any design. Material is matched to your panel system for a perfect color and coating consistency, typically Kynar or SMP finishes. For concealed flashings (step flashings and counter flashings behind siding), we use galvanized steel or plain aluminum for cost efficiency since they won't be visible. Custom flashings for architectural details can be fabricated in copper, zinc, or stainless steel for exposed decorative applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I just use stock trim from a supply house?

Stock trim comes in standard profiles and limited lengths. It rarely matches the exact angle, depth, or profile needed for your specific roof geometry. Custom-fabricated trim fits precisely, looks cleaner, and performs better at critical water management points.

How do I specify custom trim dimensions?

Provide us with a sketch showing the profile and dimensions you need, or send photos and measurements from the job site. Our fabricators can interpret field sketches and translate them into precise brake setups. If you have CAD files or panel manufacturer detail sheets, even better.

What's your lead time for trim orders?

Standard trim packages are typically ready in 3 to 5 business days. Rush orders can often be turned around in 1 to 2 days depending on shop capacity. Large orders with many custom pieces may take longer. We confirm timing when you place the order.

Can you match trim to an existing panel system?

Yes. We match by manufacturer, color code, and gauge. If the existing panels are weathered, we'll work with you to find the closest match — new coated metal won't perfectly match panels that have been exposed for years, but we'll get as close as possible.

What's the maximum length you can fabricate?

Our brakes handle pieces up to 10 feet in length. For longer runs, we fabricate pieces with overlapping joints designed to shed water properly. Most trim and flashing pieces fall well within this range.
